As you might already know, Oprah has decided to make her first endorsement in a Presidential campaign and to endorse Barack Obama’s 2008 Presidential bid. As with every other Democrat candidate, they get celebrities to back their candidacy and to show up to benefits to help raise money.
It could be this single celebrity endorsement that propels Barack Obama right past Hillary.

Oprah does have some pull, but these two still seem to be neck and neck.

I think Oprah has a huge following, moreso than many people realize. Her support is liable to be exactly what Obama needs to push him past the "woman for president" popularity that Hillary is currently riding on.

Oprah has many followers that buy the books she talks about, and will probably support the candidate she is endorsing. The thing is, I don't think Oprah can actually sell Obama... He can't sell his ideas. I find him mumbling, and lacking of experience. My preference is clearly for Hillary, because I don't think Obama would actually do a good job.

Well, so far I think the media giving Obama a "Rock-Star" quality is doing more than Oprah did so far... I just hope people see that this guy has no experience whatsoever, and somehow they choose Hillary to be the Democratic Nominee.
