The people in Indiana have sure heard the message. I read that close to 90% of the people there use their seatbelts.

Seat belts are a good idea, but I don't think that wearing them should be the law. Grown-ups should be allowed to make their own decisions.

In response to mike: Totally agree with you. For kids should be mandatory by law as it is, but adults should be left to choose what they want or what they don't want. Specially after I had to pay a fine for not wearing it!
