Hillary Clinton Won With Tears
When no winner could be predicted, the world got to see Hillary in a whole new light. Showing some vulnerability, Mrs. Clinton began to get misty. Her situation was dire, news outlets had already begun analyzing her loss, and she quickly received the nickname of ‘underdog’ and ‘comeback kid.’
Then, in what came as a somewhat shock, Hillary came out on top. Did her tears change the fate of an election?
According to BBC, “When hard women cry, it is even more shocking than when men crack up.” NY Times sings a different tune, claiming that, no matter what, we are looking for anything not to elect a woman.
"Gender is probably the most restricting force in American life, whether the question is who must be in the kitchen or who could be in the White House. This country is way down the list of countries electing women and, according to one study, it polarizes gender roles more than the average democracy."
No matter what one must think - Hillary’s outcome went from a loss to a win in the blink of an eye.
Though there will be some fallout, a single tear has turned the campaign back in her favor.
